Type of plywood finish featuring a clear, durable top coating to add toughness, resisting to scrapes and chip. UV coating is basically a compound that is applied to wet wood and then instantly dried by ultraviolet light. Several different types of compounds are used to coat wood.

Ultraviolet cured finish provides a clean and highly durable clear coat. As a standard, UV prefinished plywood panels are produced with a 40 sheen levels for satin appearance. Higher sheen levels are available by request. UV finishing is offered as a topcoat on one or both sides of the panels.

It is used in kitchen products, it is especially common in drawer sides, kitchen cabinets, and the interior. Birch plywood is highly resistant to water and moisture, so it is widely used in areas with high water and moisture. It has a very long life and does not wear and tear.
